During 29 – 30 January, 2025 Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys traveled to Riga, Latvia where, on the first day, she attended the annual foreign policy debate in the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia at the Saeima Latvia, and participated in related activities hosted by the Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs, which facilitated interactions between the diplomatic corps in Latvia and important persons from the Latvian government. Subsequently, on January 30th, 2025, the Ambassador attended a reception hosted by the President of the Republic of Latvia for the diplomatic corps and prominent foreign figures in Latvia as well.

During this visit, the Ambassador had opportunity to meet with the Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs and key figures in relevant government agencies to exchange information on issues of importance to Latvia and on cooperation between Thailand and Latvia. She also met with members of the diplomatic corps in Latvia who attended the events to exchange information and views on international political and economic issues affecting Thailand and the global community.
