Ambassador Tanee proposes to President of Daejeon Chamber of Commerce and Industry on opportunities to enhance more Korean investment in Thailand

On 10 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, met with

Mr. Jeong Tae Hee, President of Daejeon Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Office of Daejeon CCI to invite Korean private sector in Daejeon Metropolitan city to explore trade and investment opportunities in Thailand in sectors in which both sides having expertise and mutual benefits, such as digital, biotechnology, semiconductor, defense technology and AI.

Ambassador invited members of Daejoen CCI to participate in activities in which the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul will organize to raise awareness of Korean private sector on investment opportunities in Thailand and privileges as follows: (1) Thailand-ROK Business Week in Seoul during the second half of April 2025, focusing on FDI, investment/connectivity on finance and banking and Logistics, including industrial estates and condominiums and (2) a business trip for Korean private sector delegation to Thailand in December 2025.
