Ambassador Tanee exchanges views with the Chairman of Daewoo E&C and the CEO of Herald Media Group to promote Thailand- ROK multifaceted relations

On 8 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, exchanged views with Mr. Jung Won-Ju, Chairman of Daewoo E&C and Herald Media Group, and Mr. Choi Jin-young, CEO of Herald Media Group, a leading South Korean media company specializing in print and digital media with diversed global audience. The company is particularly well-known for the Korea Herald, catering to English-speaking readers, and Herald Business, focusing on business and financial Korean-reading audiences.

Both sides exchanged views on the development of Thailand-ROK relations in the areas of economy and cultural exchanges at the people-to-people level. They emphasized the importance of fostering mutual awareness and understanding in Korean society and agreed to work together and exchange more information and news coverage to continuously enhance public awareness and understanding of the developments in bilateral relations between the two countries, especially the opportunities for economic cooperation.

The Ambassador invited Daewoo Group to visit and explore investment opportunities in Thailand in industrial estate, construction, real estate, and meet Thai Government leaders.
