Ambassador Tanee expresses his condolences to the family of Miss Sirithon Cha-eu, a Thai national who passed away in the Jeju Air crash accident whilst landing at the Muan International Airport, Jeollanam province.

On 10 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, met with Miss Sutthinee Jaoue, the mother of Miss Sirithon Cha-eu a Thai national who passed away in the Jeju Air crash accident whilst landing at the Muan International Airport, Jeollanam province, on 29 December 2024.

Ambassador expressed his condolences about this incident, presented the death certificate to Miss Sirithon’s family, and informed them that on 9 January 2025, he met with Mr. Kim Yeongkook, Director General for Aviation Policy, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, to follow up on updated information on the causes of this incident and to learn about remedy measures from the ROK’s authorities concerned for the bereaved family.
