On 9 March 2023, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, was invited to a Gala Dinner for Ambassadors and their spouses, residing in Oslo, hosted by Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway. His Royal Highness The Crown Prince, Her Highness Princess Astrid, Mrs. Ferner, and other important Norwegian dignitaries were also in attendance. This special event is held every three years.

On this occasion, Ambassador Ruksakiati had audiences with His Majesty King Harald V, His Royal Highness The Crown Prince, and Her Highness Princess Astrid, Mrs. Ferner, and had discussions with Norwegian dignitaries, including H.E. Ms. Anniken Huitfeldt, Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Espen Barth Eide, Minister of Climate and Environment, H.E. Mr. Tore Hattrem, Secretary General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mrs. Marianne Borgen, Mayor of Oslo, on topics important in promoting closer bilateral relations between Thailand and Norway, including the policy cooperation linkage between Norway’s Green Transition policy and Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model, cooperation on sustainable development, the 12th Thai-Norwegian Bilateral Consultations Meeting, hosted by Thailand on 3 March 2023 in Bangkok, and the Embassy’s efforts in providing assistance to Thai community in Norway.
