On 1 March 2023, Mrs. Thippawan Supamitkitja, Ambassador Designated of Thailand to Côte d'Ivoire, with residence in Dakar, Republic of Senegal, was invited by the Ivorian side to a meeting with H.E. Mr. Paulin Claude DANHO, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, during the Ambassador's visit to Abidjan for the Mobile Consular Service and Thai Food, Products,and Culture Fair between 1 - 4 March 2023.

Both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation on sports between Thailand and Côte d'Ivoire, particularly, promoting Thai Boxing, as well as tourism and people-to-people relations.
