On 9 December 2022, Upon taking her tenure of office as Ambassador of Thailand to Senegal, Mrs. Thippawan Supamitkitja paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Andrea Semadeni, Ambassador of Swiss Confederation to Senegal. On this occasion, the Swiss Ambassador shared his views and experiences on ways to promote peace and security in Senegal, as well as other countries in West Africa, the economic potential and cooperation on trade and investment in Senegal, for instance, gold mine. The two Ambassadors exchanged information on development cooperation projects, which the two countries have had with Senegal, particularly, the training courses and human resource development. Moreover, both sides shared information in relevant to the working experiences in Senegal and other countries accredited to their respective Embassies.
