On 25 July 2023, Mr. Chettaphan Maksamphan, Director-General of American and South Pacific Affairs, attended a concert on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was performed by a Colombian artist, Mr. Elkin Robinson. This event was organized by the Embassy of Colombia in Bangkok at Chulalongkorn University to celebrate the 213th Anniversary of Colombia’s Independence.

In his speech, the Director-General congratulated the Government of Colombia and her people on this auspicious occasion. He also reaffirmed Thailand’s determination to further enhance Thailand - Colombia relations.
