On Sunday, 7 August 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm held the ceremony on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 12 August 2016 at the Royal Thai Embassy whereby H.E. Mr. Kiattikhun Chartprasert, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden and his spouse, along with the Embassy’s officials and families, officials of Team Thailand and Embassy’s staffs, together with over 50 Thai people and their families all attended. In the ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Kiattikhun led the participants in paying tribute to Her Majesty the Queen followed by singing the Royal Anthem and signing the book to extend their blessing to Her Majesty the Queen on the said occasion. 

             Later, the Embassy organized the special lecture on Royal Projects and Sufficiency Economy by inviting Professor Geoffrey Longfellow, Director of Special Projects, Sustainable Development Foundation as a speaker. On this occasion, Professor Geoffrey shared his experience in his serve for Her Majesty the Queen. As a Thai citizen, he expressed his great pride as he followed in the Royal Foot Steps of Her Majesty the Queen’s Royal Projects and worked for the Thai people. A number of projects initiated by Her Majesty the Queen helped people who live in the remote areas to have a better life. The participants had a better understanding on the Royal Projects and Sufficiency Economy while they were highly grateful to Her Majesty the Queen.
