On 11 July 2016, Team Thailand, led by Mr. Poj Harnpol, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. and Colonel Kom Viriyavejakul, Defense Attaché, Acting Military Attaché, welcomed the delegation of National Defence Studies Institute (NDSI), led by Lieutenant General Thanadtang, Deputy Commanding General of the NDSI. Both sides discussed the follow up of the agreements on military cooperation, signed during the visit to Russia of Prime Minister of Thailand in May 2016, such as technical exchange, Military Education System, as well as cooperation under ASEAN Defence Minister’s Meeting Plus, such as military medicine, counter-terrorism, and disaster reliefs.
