            On 4 June 2016, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag presided over the opening ceremony of the 12th Thai Festival in Nagoya, which was held by Yamamori Co., Ltd. and was supported by Aichi Prefecture as well as Nagoya City. The Governors of Aichi, Mie, the Vice-Governor of Gifu and the Mayor of Nagoya all attended this annual event, which was aimed at promoting Thai food, art and culture. The Royal Thai Embassy exhibited the booths to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's seventh cycle, or 84th, birthday anniversary. In addition, the Embassy consular officials organized a mobile consular service at the Royal Thai Embassy’s booth. The office of the Agricultural Affairs in Tokyo exhibited mango; Keaw Savey and Chok Anan, which were recently allowed to be imported into Japan. The Tourism Authority of Thailand in Osaka also had a booth exhibition to promote tourist destinations in Thailand.
