On 14 May 2016, Mr. Suchart Liengsaengthong, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, presided over the Annual Sports Gala with the Thai Student Association, Islamabad, held at the Jinnah Sports Complex.  Over 100 Thai students studying in Islamabad and the towns nearby, the Team Thailand’s officials and their families and Thai community took part in the event. There were sports competitions organized such as football, volleyball, chair ball, sack race, speed eating race and relay race.  The aims of organizing such event are to strengthen ties between Team Thailand’s officials, Thai students and Thai community living in Pakistan and to promote unity and harmony among them.
