On 25 April 2016, HE Mr Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, collaborated with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IE-AT) in organizing an event to promote investment in the Rubber City, Songkhla. During this event, the Governor of IE-AT had an opportunity to give leading Malaysian rubber business representatives a briefing and answer their queries about the Rubber City, and exchanged views with representatives from Tradewind Plantations Berhad (TPB) about the enhancement of connectivity between rubber industries in Thailand and Malaysia.
