            On 11 May 2016, Mrs. Kanyaratana Punkrasin, Ambassador’s spouse, and spouses of the officials from theRoyal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Canberra organized a Thai fruit and vegetable carving class formembers of Women's International Club of Canberra (WIC) at Sala Thai, Royal Thai Embassy. Today’s class is the second of a series of five ‘Thai Culture Circle’ activities offered to WIC members. After the class, Mrs. Punkrasin also hosted a morning tea for the participants.
            Women's International Club of Canberra (WIC) was founded in 1964 with an aim to foster friendship and mutual understanding among women from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Besides monthly meeting, members can choose to participate in more than 60 cultural activities or ‘Circle’. At present, WIC has over 350 members including Australian and foreign ladies and spouses of diplomatic corps living in Canberra.
