On 5 April 2016, Mr. Hajime Furuta, Gifu Governor, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag at the Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo. On this occasion, both exchanged views and opinions on Gifu-Thailand relations as well as the visit of the Gifu Governor to Thailand on 25-28 May 2016.
