On 18 March 2016, H.E. Ambassador Bansarn Bunnag attended the 2016 graduation ceremony of the Hitachi Global Partnership Foundation and gave a congratulatory speech to the graduates. This year, there were 2 fellowship grantees who graduated with a Ph.D. Degree; Ms. Sirawadee Arunyanart, Lecturer at Khon Khaen University and Ms. Wapee Manopiniwes, Lecturer at Chiang Mai University. 

 

            Hitachi Global Foundation was established in 1984 and it aims to help and support the education of ASEAN university lecturers. So far, there have been 64 grantees for Ph.D. Degrees and 67 grantees for a short term research program from universities in Thailand to study Ph.D. Degree in Japan.
