Thailand was the guest country at the annual fundraising event of the Asian Ladies’ Club in Mexico this year. The event was held on 17 March 2016 at Erawan Thai Restaurant under the theme “Amazing Thailand, and attended by approximately 150 persons including the diplomatic corps and spouses, the Asian community in Mexico and friends, Thai community and the media.

 

            The Embassy together with the Thai Community organized two Thai dance performances – “RabamKridaphiniharn” and “FonAuayPon”, a Thai boxing show, and Thai fruit carving. The restaurant Erawan served a Thai lunch to participants and a booth was also dedicated to sale of Thai handicrafts. Proceeds will go to the AquíNadie Se Rindefoundation which is dedicated to helping children with cancer.
