On 15 March 2016, H.E. Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, with Royal Thai Embassy Officials, welcomed and gave briefing to Royal Thai Army and Thai delegations, group 94, 65 participants at Sala Thai. Dr. John Blaxland, Senior Fellow at the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at ANU, and former Australia's Defence Attaché to Thailand, also gave a briefing on “History of Australian Defence Forces”.
