On 24 October 2015 Mr. ChaisiriAnaman, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, represented H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, in attending a religious ceremony at the Bodhisattva Kuan Yin Retreat in Phetchaburi Province. The event was organized by the Prayer for His Majesty the King Project, in collaboration with relevant Thai agenciesas well as leaders of all faiths in Thailand including Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Sikh, Bahai, and Jainism. The ceremony was presided over by Her Serene Highness Princess MalineeMongkolYukolAmarttayakul.
In his congratulatory message to the organizers,the Minister of Foreign Affairs is thankful for staging the religious ceremony which brings together leaders and people of all faiths in Thailand with goodwill for one another. The Ministry itself attaches importance to fostering friendly relations between Thailand and other countries using various mechanisms both at bilateral and multilateral levels as well as public diplomacy and cultural diplomacy, including Buddhism and inter-faith dialogue to promote goodwill and lasting peace in the world community.
