On 17 October 2015, Mr. Loechai Jantarasombat, Chargé d’ Affaires a.i. of Thailand  presided over the welcoming ceremony for the new batch of 18 Thai students who came to Pakistan to further their studies at International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI). Many activities were organized to create acquaintance and enhance relations between the senior students and the new students. On this occasion, Chargé d’ Affaires delivered a remark welcoming the new Thai students to Pakistan and encouraged the students to focus on their studies as well as requested senior students to help advise the new students regarding successful study techniques and life in Pakistan. They could contact the Embassy anytime for further assistance and advice. Chargé d’ Affaires also wished the students every success in their educational endeavours.
