On Monday 14 September 2015, Mrs Aroonwan Chuwiruch, Spouse of the Ambassador of Thailand to the UAE, and Chef Peter Peerapong, from the Thai Chef Community in Abu Dhabi, jointly organized for the first time a Thai cooking demonstration for 20 members of the Abu Dhabi Women Center which was led by Mrs Mona Al Qamsi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Women Center.

 

            The cooking demonstration started with a fruit and vegetable carving class, followed by a cooking class of two famous Thai dishes: Thai Beef Salad and Tom Yum Gung (Hot and Sour Prawn Soup) and ended with a Thai lunch. Members of the Thai Women Association in Abu Dhabi also participated in this event to assist members of Abu Dhabi Women Center to learn how to cook Thai food.
