On 26 April 2015, Royal Thai Consulate-General joined the annual Songkran Festival, held at Kren Air Jernih, Kuala Terengganu. The event was held every year to celebrate and preserve the tradition of Songkran (Thai New Year) amongst Thais and Malaysian Siamese in Terengganu. The cultural performance also organized by the Malaysian Siamese community of Terengganu.
