Thai Cooking Show in Brazilian Media

            On 20 April 2015, H.E. Mr. Pitchayaphant Charnbhumidol, Ambassador of Thailand to Brazil led his secretary and the chef of the Royal Thai Residence to visit Sao Paulo for recording the cooking show of “Phad Thai Khoung Sod” in the “DiaDia” Cooking Program, on Band TV, which is a very famous culinary program in Brazil.
 
            During the recording, Mr. Daniel Bork, the host of the DiaDia asked the Thai Ambassador about Thailand and Thai Food. Mr. Ambassador took the opportunity to give the general information about Thailand such as leading export products and top dishes of Thai cuisine. He also said that the ready-made ingredients of Thai food can be found easily in Brazil. He further elaborated that Thai food is very famous for its unique tastes and has various types. Meanwhile, the Chef demonstrated in detail how to cook “Phad Thai Khoung Sod” and explained a step-by-step approach of how to do it with the display of Thai ingredients. The Thai cooking show in DiaDia Program will be on air on Monday 27 April 2015 at 09.30 hrs. on Band TV, channel 17.
 
            The Embassy continuously promotes Thai food and ingredients, as Thailand is also renowned as the “Kitchen of the World”. The presentation of Thai Cooking Show in DiaDia Program is a way to create the THAI Brand Awareness to all the Brazilians to know more and to have better understanding about Thai food with the aim to increase more consumption of Thai food, seasoning, ingredients and ready-made food products among the Brazilians.
