On 14 April 2015, H.E. Mr. ManasviSrisodapol, Thai Ambassador to Poland, attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd World Food Warsaw 2015 on 14 - 16 April 2015 in Warsaw. The ceremony was also attended by H.E.Ms. ZofiaSzalczyk, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Mr. RadoslawSzatkowski, President of Agricultural Market Agency.

 

           World Food Warsaw 2015 is an international exhibition which is aiming for supporting food and beverages industries, serving as a platform for business matching, as well as discussion forum on doing food business in Poland and also other regions in the world. About 190 companies are participating this year. Most of them are Polish and European companies. Companies from Asia including those from China, India, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, and UAE. There are also five Thai companies participating which are Win Chance Food Co.,Ltd., Thaitheparos PCL, Siam Food, SureeInterfoods Co., Ltd., and PhiboonchaiMaepranom. Office of Commercial Affairs in Warsaw is the main agency in coordinating and facilitating the Thai delegation participating the event.

 

            On this occasion, Ambassador hosts the dinner for the Thai delegation and Polish importers (Mr. MaciejSzala, DeCare Group z.o.o and Mr.  Krzysztof Bogusz, Merrez.o.o) to exchange view and experiences as well as discuss the future of Poland in businesses to study the possibilities to promote Thailand-Poland trade relations.
