On 10 April 2015, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon presided over the opening ceremony of the first flight of Thai Smile Airways from Narathiwat to Bangkok (Suwannaphomi) with the Governor of Narathiwat and Mr.Woranate Laprabang the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Thai Smile. This new route will provide more convenience for both Thai and Malay tourists visiting Bangkok to decide to travel on the morning or evening flight (16.05 hrs).
