Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi took part in the second Food Festival

            On January 24, 2015, Mr. Panyarak Poolphup, Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, assigned Minister Wanthanee Viputwongsakul together with the officials and staffs of the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi to join the second food festival organized by the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps at Van Phuc Diplomatic Quarter, Hanoi, Vietnam.
 
           The second food festival aims to promote multicultural through various foods from all over the world. The project also focuses on raising money for donation to the “Rice with Meat foundation”, the organization that provides clean and sufficient food for children and poor women living in mountainous areas.
There were several activities in the second food festival including food-selling from various Embassies in Hanoi and Vietnamese restaurants, cooking classes, cultural performances and donation ceremony.
 
           On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy prepared many dishes for selling as well as introducing Thai foods and beverages, for instance,  Kuay Tiew Lord (Rolled noodle with red sauce), Kuay Tiew Kua Kai (Fried noodle with chicken), Kanom Mor-Kaeg (Thai custard cake), Thai milk tea, Singha Beer, to the Vietnamese as well as foreigners attendees. The proceeds from goods-selling were donated to the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps which will be transferred to the “Rice with Meat foundation”.
