On 9 December 2014, General Tanasak Patimapragorn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, presided over an evening concert to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s 87th Birthday Anniversary.  Approximately 300 guests comprising members of diplomatic corps, international organizations, foreign chambers of commerce and distinguished guests from private and public sectors attended the special performance by Thailand’s first non-government orchestra group, Pro Musica. Under the baton of Admiral Mom Luang Usni Promoj, Privy Counselor and Thai National Artist, the band performed a selection of royal compositions by His Majesty the King.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs annually organizes activities to celebrate the Birthday Anniversaries of their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand.
