On 5 November 2014, H.E. Mrs. Kanthong Unakul, Thai Ambassador to Nepal, joined the Royal Katina Robe Offering Ceremony 2014 in Royal Thai Monastery in Lumbini. This Katina Robe was bestowed by His Majesty the King and the ceremony was presided over by Mr. Sompong Rattanasumawong. Approximately 150 Thai Buddhists and honorable guests had joined the said ceremony.
