On 8 November 2014 at 01.00 p.m., H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador, Mr.Teerathep Promvongsanon, Consul General of Thailand in Sydney, Mr. Vasin Ruengprateepsaeng, Minister of Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, Heads of Team Thailand in Canberra and Sydney, and  Mr. Wiwatchai Boonyapak, Executive Director, Marketing Services Department, Tourism Authority of Thailand, and President of the Thai Restaurant Association of Australia and Thai restaurants entrepreneurs, attended the opening ceremony of Thai Food & Loi Krathong Festival  (8 – 9 November 2014) at First Fleet Park, The Rock, Sydney.
