On 31 October 2014 and 3 November 2014, H.E. Mr. Panyarak Poolthup, Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam, presented books on Thailand to the National Library of Vietnam and 4 universities including University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Languages and International Studies, University of Hanoi, and FPT University. 

 

            The book handovers are activities of the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi which is aimed to promote Thailand as well as to form positive attitudes and to promote popularity of Thai culture among the Vietnamese people particularly amongst students and academics which will further lead to the closer cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam in other areas. The 38 books presented to each Vietnamese organization include the books on His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Thai politics, Thai tourism, Thai architecture, Thai language, Thai food and Thai culture.
