            On 2nd November 2014, Ms. Benjamas Tanvetyanont, Deputy Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General of Thailand in Hong Kong SAR, presided over the ceremony of presenting robes to monks at the end of Buddhist Lent at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Hong Kong. Ms. Pratana Udommongkolkul, Consul, also attended in the ceremony.
 
            Wat Phra Dhammakaya Hong Kong organized the said ceremony every year. For this year, the ceremony was held at Tsim Sha Tsui District Kaifong Welfare Association with an aim at raising the fund for the construction of a monk house at the temple as well as the construction of Kowloon Meditation Temple. A great number of the Thais, the Hong Kong people and the expats living in Hong Kong together with their families, attended the ceremony.
 
            The Deputy Consul-General also greeted the Thai community, mostly the Thai domestic helpers in Hong Kong, who showed their unity by organizing the ceremony.
