On 25 October 2014, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, and his wife together with officials and spouses of the Royal Thai Embassy participated in ASEAN Culinary Day 2014, hosted by Myanmar Embassy and the Royal Thai Embassy, at Police Club, Zamalek, Cairo.

 

            The event was attended by over 500 participants from public and private agencies in Egypt as well as 8 ASEAN Embassies in Cairo. The participants enjoy various activities such as authentic food of each ASEAN country, food demonstration, and cultural performance. The event has helped ties the bond of ASEAN Community in Cairo and promoted cultural understanding between the Egyptian and ASEAN member countries through cuisine dimension.
