On 25 September 2014, H.E. Mr. Panyarak Poolthup, Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam, paid a courtesy on H.E. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Cao Bang and Deputy Secretary-General of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, on the occasion of his visit to the province between 24 – 26 September 2014. The purpose of the trip is to lead the executive team of the Thai Nakorn Patana (Vietnam) Company Limited to carry out the company’s cooperate social responsibility (CSR) activities and to promote tourism industry of the Province.

          On this occasion,  Ambassador thanked Cao Bang Province for the welcoming arrangement and showed his readiness to promote cooperation with the province, especially on the establishment of sister-city relationship with a province of Thailand and on the development of the province’s local herbs with medicinal value. H.E. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, in turn, asked Ambassador Panyarak to disseminate the information about the province in Thailand and hope that Thai investors would come to invest in the province in the future, especially in the area of herbal medicine which is already renowned.

          Moreover,  Ambassador Panyarak headed the delegation in handing over charity donation, such as medicine, medical supplies and other equipments, to the Cao Bang Provincial Public Health Office and the Health Station in Trung Khanh district.
