On 3 September 2014, H.E. Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, Madam Jiraporn Jitpatima and officials of the Royal ThaiEmbassy and Team Thailand welcomed, at the Embassy’s reception hall, the delegation of 22 monks and 21 accompanying high level officials from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, who are visiting Singapore for their ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) study visit. On this occasion, Ms.VowpailinChovichien, First Secretary, briefed the delegation on the topic of AEC and joined the Ambassador in the Q & A session.After the briefing, Ambassador, Madam Jiraporn and members of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand made offerings to the monks and Chao KhunPhratepSiddhivides, Chief Monk, AnandaMetyarama Temple, and the President of the Thai Monks Assembly in Singapore, and Chao KhunPhraPanyadhamvides (Chao KhunRian), AnandaMetyarama Temple, who were also invited to join this special occasion. They also hosted a lunch for accompanied officials.
