On 11-13 August 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with National Food Institute of Thailand, organized a capacity building training course "Good Practices in Restaurant Management" for Tom Yam Thai restaurants, with a view to enhancing the capacity of Thai halal restaurants in Malaysia. The course, which included lectures, demonstrations and live practices about best practices in restaurants management, was officiated by H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, who also presented certificates to participants at the end of the course, and attended by some 50 Tom Yam restauranteurs.
