On 1 June 2014 His Excellency Dr. Itti Ditbanjong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation had a discussion and hosted dinner to the delegation from the Board of  Hahal Science Centre Chulalongkorn University, the Central Islamic Council of Thailand and the International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand on the occasion of visiting Russia to participate in the Moscow Halal Expo (MHE 2014) and the signing of MOU between the Halal Science Centre Chulanlongkorn University and the Russian Halal Certification Centre, including the study visit to the Halal Certification Centre in Kazan, Tatarstan during 1-8 June 2014.

     On this occasion Chef Kent Arnon Masanglong, Master Chef Thailand was also demonstrate Thai food cooking in the “Thai Food Night 2014” on 4 June 2014 at the restaurant “Panton” under the Ginza Project Moscow (A leading Russian restaurant management group, which owns restaurants in Russia and in the major cities such as New York and other capital cities of the CIS countries).  The event aimed to promote the authentic taste of Thai cuisine and promote the opening of more Thai restaurants in Russia.
