     On 9 January 2014, Mrs. Sherry Rehman, President of Jinnah Institute paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, to give a briefing on the work of Jinnah Institute, an independent policy research with aims to promote broad-based, policy making, democratic institution-building and strengthening state capacity for delivery on policy goals and national and human security discourse with an emphasis on regional peace. Besides, Jinnah Institute has initiated the Chaophraya Dialogue to promote understanding and to strengthen relations between Pakistan and India through Track II dialogue. The said dialogue was regularly convened in Thailand and the 12th Dialogue was scheduled to be organized at the end of January 2014.  Ambassador expressed appreciation on the work of the Institute and was pleased that Thailand was chosen as a venue for the meeting.
