On 19 March 2013, Mr. Chalit Manityakul, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, took part in the opening ceremony of the Cairo International Fair (CIF) at Fairground, Cairo Conference Centre, Nasr City, Cairo. The ceremony was chaired by His Excellency Mr. Hisham Kandil, Prime Minister of Egypt while His Excellency Mr. Hatem Saleh, Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade of Egypt also attended. There are 10 leading Thai companies such as C.P. Intertrade Co. Ltd., Heritage Snacks and Food Co. Ltd. and Satien Stainless Steel Public Co. Ltd. participating in this 10 days fair during 19-29 March 2013.
