On Sunday 24 February 2013, Mr. Chakri Srichawana, Consul-General, attended the Peacemakers’ Celebration Inaugural Ceremony cum Global Peace Concert at Charles K Kao Auditorium, Hong Kong Science Park, Sha Tin District, organised by UNESCO Hong Kong Association and supported by the Royal Thai Consulate-General to promote peace through culture among Hong Kong and foreign young generation. The Ceremony was presided over by Dr. Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai, Member of Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress together with Prof. Tao Xiping, Vice President of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations and President of the National Federation of UNESCO Associations in China and Prof. Patrick Lau, President of UNESCO Hong Kong Association. Around 1,000 participants attended to this event.
