On Sunday 24 February 2013, Mr. Chakri Srichawan, Consul-General, attended the launching of “Lok Sin Tong Fight Crime Veteran” at Lok Sin Tong Primary School in Kowloon City District. This pilot project, collaborated by Hong Kong Police Force in Kowloon City District and Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, aims to encourage Thai volunteers to play active role in sharing and providing useful information to community and police to prevent crime and avoid being a crime victim in Kowloon City District as well as to strengthen relationship between Thai Community and local Community in the area. Mr. Raymond Siu Chak-yee, Chief Superintendent, Kowloon City District of Hong Kong Police Force, Mr. Antonio Kwong Cho Sing, Chairman of Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society Executive Committee and Mr. Chau Hoi-kit, Principal of Lok Sin Tong Primary School also attended the launching ceremony. There are around 70 Thai volunteers aged 45-80 years actively participated in this project.
