On 3-4 March 2013, Dr. ChaiyongSatjipanon, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States of America, visited Miami, State of Florida. During the visit, the Ambassador met Mr. Carlos A. Gimenez, Mayor of Miami-Dade County, to exchange views on ways and means to further promote relations and cooperation between Thailand and Miami. The Ambassador also delivered remarks and presided over the ceremony to present “Thai Select” certificates to 13 selected Thai restaurants in the state of Florida at the 23rd Asian Cultural Festival at the Fruit & Spice Park.In addition, the Ambassador visited Wat Buddharangsi where the Royal Thai Embassy's mobile consular team worked to provide services to Thais living in nearby areas and met with Thai professor and students at the Florida International University.
