On 25 February 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, on the sidelines of the 2nd ASEAN Future Forum in Hanoi.

The two Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in all dimensions, particularly in addressing transboundary challenges such as online scams, PM 2.5 pollution and shared water resource management.

They discussed ways to advance tourism cooperation through the Six Countries, One Destination initiative. They also looked forward to a series of activities to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Thailand-Cambodia diplomatic relations, aimed at fostering mutual understanding and enhancing people-to-people exchanges.
