The delegation participated in the cloth-wrapping ceremony around the pagoda at Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya, providing the diplomatic corps with an opportunity to experience one of Thailand’s long-standing traditions. The programme also included a briefing on the site’s history, architecture, and archaeology, as well as a visit to OTOP exhibition booths showcasing Chaiya District’s products, all of which were co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Chaiya District.
Afterwards, the delegation proceeded to Laem Pho Royal Commemorative Public Park, Municipality of Phum Riang Subdistrict, to take part in a series of ecological and cultural activities organized by the Phum Riang Community-Based Ecotourism Group.
