Thailand delivers 4th Batch of Humanitarian Assistance for the Ukrainian people through Thai Red Cross Society

On 22 December 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a ceremony to deliver the 4th batch of humanitarian assistance from Thailand to the Thai Red Cross Society for the Ukrainian people, worth 2 million baht. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, presented this contribution to Dr. Apichart Chinwanno, Assistant Secretary-General for External Relations of the Thai Red Cross Society. Mr. Pavlo Orel, Chargé d'Affaires from the Embassy of Ukraine, was also in attendance.

The Thai Red Cross Society will allocate the 4th batch of humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society to procure the necessary items for the Ukrainian people affected by the ongoing war.

Thailand has consistently extended humanitarian aid to Ukraine through various channels, including UNICEF, Thai Red Cross Society, and Polish Red Cross Society, with a total of 22.5 million baht (approximately 640,000 USD). Thailand remains committed to contributing humanitarian assistance to those affected people.
