Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs enhanced Thailand-UK cooperation on public health, economic and security as well as within the ASEAN framework, during a farewell call by the British Ambassador to Thailand.

On 28 June 2021, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Brian John Davidson, British Ambassador to Thailand, during the latter’s farewell call. The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs thanked the Ambassador for his active role in promoting the Thai-UK relations during the 5-year tenure.

Both sides discussed the exchange of future high-level visits to expand bilateral cooperation including the Strategic Dialogue at the Deputy/Vice Minister level. Both sides discussed enhancing cooperation on public health, security, trade, in particular negotiations for Thai-UK FTA as well as cooperation within the ASEAN framework. They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region.
