On 9 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo organised the ceremony in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, Memorial Day, 13 October 2025. H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, presided over the ceremony, attended by the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Tokyo, along with their spouses. At the ceremony, the Ambassador laid a wreath and delivered remarks honoring His Late Majesty’s extraordinary contribution to the country and the Thai people.  
          On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy also organised a Buddhist ceremony which included prayers, meditation and alms offering to monks as a dedication of merits to His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.
