On 10 October 2025, to mark the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great's Memorial Day on 13 October, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys led Thai officials from the Embassy and Team Thailand in paying respect to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and organized a Buddhist ceremony at Buddharam Temple Värmdö Sweden.
During the ceremony, Ambassador placed a wreath in front of His Majesty’s portrait and, together with officials, performed a memorial candle lighting ceremony with an 89-second silence in tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.
