On September 3, 2024, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Director-General of TICA, discussed with Ms. Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, Director-General for Information and Public Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, during the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (HLF MSP) in Bali, Indonesia.

During the discussion, both sides agreed that Thailand-Indonesia development cooperation could be further strengthened at all levels – bilaterally, trilaterally, as well as regional and global levels. It serves as the primary mechanism for the bilateral discussion on development cooperation in areas of mutual interests and for both sides to co-design the Plan of Action to implement the agreed upon projects and activities. Both sides hope that they will work closely together to produce concrete results from the Plan of Action to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Thailand-Indonesia diplomatic relations in 2025. Thailand will host the next Annual Consultation on Technical Cooperation between Thailand and Indonesia in Samui, Surat Thani province, in the last quarter of 2024.
