On 27 September 2021, H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health of the Kingdom of Thailand, represented the Royal Thai Government at the handover ceremony of 122,400 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines from the Government of Singapore, represented by H.E. Kevin Cheok, Ambassador of Singapore to Thailand, at the Ministry of Public Health. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Dusit Manapan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and senior officials of the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand. The contribution of the vaccines by the Government of Singapore to the Royal Thai Government is part of public health cooperation between the two countries to help overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the vaccines, the Government of Singapore contributed 200,000 Antigen Rapid Tests and 500,000 nasopharyngeal swabs to Thailand. The vaccines and medical supplies were transported to Thailand on 25 September 2021.
