On 27 – 30 May 2024, Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, held bilateral meetings with high-level representatives from various countries on the margins of the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) in Antigua and Barbuda, with an aim to promote bilateral and development cooperation

On this occasion, the Deputy Permanent Secretary pushed forward Thailand International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP) and Annual International Training Course (AITC), which is provided through Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA). He also discussed multilateral cooperation, such as Pacific Islands Forum (PIF), Thailand-Pacific Island Countries Forum (TPIF) and cooperation under the United Nations framework. In addition, the Deputy Permanent Secretary reiterated Thailand’s readiness to work with all partners and stakeholders to further advance human rights agenda as Thailand is presenting its candidature to the Human Rights Council for the term 2025-2027.
